Catmas

Reading the Velveteen Rabbi
and Sarah Laughed,
I learned that today is Catmas
(designated for the first Friday in October).
So I decided to post this photograph
of my neighbor's cat, Beseka. She
sleeps on our front porch
or on the stepping stones
in the garden.

    Is that a mixed media work in the post below? It looks wonderful - great colours. Looks textural as well yeah?

  2. Shell, thank you for visiting. Beseka is a beautiful cat, and I enjoy her presence immensely.

    Actually, the painting below is all impasto acrylics -- which accounts for the texture.
